Monthly Bulk Trash Service

Each month, the City collects large, bulky items, which will not fit in the 90-gallon container.

When:  Set your bulk trash out for collection by 5 a.m. on the Monday of your scheduled service week to ensure collection by the end of the week .
**Trash set out after 5 a.m. Monday may not be serviced until the next month.  Materials may be set out no more than 24 hours before the first day of the designated collection period.  If you miss the service, please remove items from view until your next service date.

Where: 
Materials set out for bulk trash collection must be placed in the street up against the curb in front of the resident’s property.  Where no curb is present, materials must be placed at the edge of the street. 

At no time may bulk trash be left on the sidewalk or on private property.  Materials will not be collected from private property or when placed within 10 feet of a vehicle, mailbox, or other obstruction to safely complete collection.

ANY BOX OR CONTAINER PLACED OUT FOR COLLECTION WILL BE REMOVED AS PART OF THE UNCONTAINED MATERIAL. 

How:  Bag or box all grass clippings, leaves and small items so they do not create a litter hazard.  For the safety of the collection crew, place windows and mirrors in strong boxes and set them apart from other materials.

Bulk E. Pile (below) is an example of what uncontained trash should NOT look like

Bulk E Pile-  Brush, limbs, trunks in excess of four (4) feet in length and six (6) inches in diameter will not be collected.

 -  Waste soil, sod, dirt, rocks, gravel, cement, concrete, masonry blocks, bricks, tile or similar materials will not be collected.

-  Glass, cactus and thorny plants must be boxed or contained.

-   Over the three cubic yard limit will not be collected.

-  Hot ashes, hot cinders, burning matter, loose sawdust, paint products, flammable , or volatile liquids will not be collected.

- No Tires will be collected.

-  Do not put out any home remodeling or construction materials for collection.  City Code requires homeowners, builders and contractors to dispose of these items privately.  


The equipment that is used might leave behind small material, debris and leaves.  Please sweep or rake after collection if necessary.

- Please place bulk items in a neatly manner

  for easy and quick pick up for crew members

 (limbs parallel with street)

- Please  do not place multiple piles in front of home.  Place all items in a single pile not to exceed 3 cubic yards.
