City Center Banner

Community Congregation Focal Points
City Center is designed as a city of neighborhoods, each part of a larger distinctive district. At the core of each district will be a unique land use or feature that provides a distinction of character and a sense of place.

Located south of Interstate 10 and along both sides of Avondale Boulevard, City Center will serve both the local and regional markets by its combination of land uses and site amenities. City Center East will be notably community and neighborhood oriented. With a residential mix of 1,200 apartment homes and townhouses flanking the linear park that courses throughout its residential, office and retail area, City Center East is the heart of the mixed use experience. Adjacent to the residential, the shade lined Main Street will be a collection of bistros, cafés and retail. As part of its vitality, Main Street is designed to host outdoor entertainment, festivals and other community activities.

Main Street is anchored by the Randall McDaniel Sports Complex, which is host to community and regional sporting events through the seasons. The Randall McDaniel Sports Complex is an indoor recreation center that contains volleyball & basketball courts, indoor soccer, and flexible programming space for events.
