Avondale World Fest Events

No need for your passport, or a boarding pass, as the World is coming to Avondale! World Fest is a celebration of culture, the arts and food from around the world. Visitors will see, hear, smell, taste, touch and actively participate in this hands-on, multicultural festival. This years festivities will include a Saturday Night Market Place and Cultural Bazaar, the third annual 5K World Fest Unity Run to benefit Youth Programs in the community, Wine Tasting and worldly Art displays in City Hall as well as a full weekend of carnival fun at Festival Fields Park with a celebration of the Hispanic Holiday ‘Fiestas Patrias’!

World Fest 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run

Avondale’s Billy Moore Heritage Days

This annual event has been part of the Southwest Valley for over 50 years, and boasts the longest running parade in the state, as we celebrate the heritage of Avondale with a Parade, Carnival and lots of entertainment. This years event is said to be the biggest, with the 2nd inaugural adult softball tournament, Lil’ Mr and Lil’ Miss Avondale Contest, Stage Entertainment, Beer Garden, Plenty of Food, Wild Rides, visits by rough riding cowboys (including Billy Moore) and much more! Cost for food, drink, rides and activities.

Veteran’s Day Ceremony

Avondale Celebrates the Holidays

The Mayor and Santa invite you and your family to make a visit to Avondale City Hall to celebrate the arrival of the Winter Holiday Season! Crafts, food and entertainment will be at the Amphitheater for all to enjoy! There will be games, visits to Santa, Children’s activities, and more! Also come inside City Hall to see this year’s winner of the Ginger Bread House Decorating competition. No Admission fee, cost for food and drink as well as rides and some activities.
